Big Block Water Pump Housing Bolts

Hi everyone,
Can someone tell me which water pump housing bolts need to have permeated on them to prevent coolant from leaking on a 67 383

Personally, I’ve never had to seal any of them. Never had a leak. Guess you could do them all if you want.

There's six.
Look at a housing gasket, that should tell you which ones could use a sealer.
(I'm using elephant ears, so mine are all studded)
Drain the coolant, pull the bolts one at a time, seal it, put it back, next.....

None of them need sealer. Some type of antisieze /lubricant perhaps.

Hmmm, I don't think any go into the water jacket !
