Possible....Easy way to tell is to check the underside...Also factory cover have stampings on the underside of them but you have to remove some hog rings....Legendary covers all have a tag thats visible underneath...Thanks, according to the guy that owned it most of it's life, the upholstery is original to the car. Based on the stitching, I would say it is correct.

Going with an electric fuel pump and upgrading to 3/8 fuel line. Shouldn't be that bad. Also going to rebuild the center carb.Great color combo! Spring is right around the corner so you'll be driving her again soon enough. Are you doing any winter projects on her?

It's a carter. I don't think I'll need a regulator with this pump, welcome to chime in on thatWhat pump are you planning on using? I have a Holley black pump with QuickFuel regulator and it gets loud. The regulator hammers and buzzes occasionally which I am trying to find something to replace it with that isn't $150+ but it does put out steady fuel at WOT.
You'll get there bro! Patience and money (a lot of money!) Post some of your projectMr. Monk,
As I've said before. I love this car. It's basically a twin to mine. Difference is mine is in need of restoration. Great to be able to see a done car of what mine could look like. Thanks for posting these pictures. And anymore you want too. Wink wink.
Not this one, it had the 440 when I bought it but I had a 68 with a 383, sweet car and she was no slouch. I never had either on a dyno but my guess is the 440 has 100 HP over the 383. Then again the 383 was basically stockI started a project thread. Just haven't had a lot of progress. Got to work to pad the project fund. Just part cost for me. I'm doing all the work. Did you ever drive it with the 383 to compare it to the 440?
Keep the fresh air hood if it's original to yours. I like my hood but once again it was on the car when I bought it. Whoever put the scoop on the hood didn't do a great job so it was a pain to get it right...looks cool thoughMy car was a air grabber car (I have all the parts minus the air cleaner),but I love the hood on yours.
