I have a 69 Roadrunner TX9 Black Exterior and Interior. Its a 383, 4 speed car.

Can't seem to find production numbers as to color. Seems a black / black car in 69 would be realitively low.

:thinker:

Those records weren't kept by Chrysler, however after the `68 model year they did track percentages of cars by color and other options. Not sure exactly where to get the info but you could try the Walter P. Chrysler museum site, they have a link to archives where you can request info for a small fee.

I have a 69 roadrunner parts car that was a factory TX9 outside with black bucket seat
N96 4 speed, radio delete car. It a shame it has to be a parts car. Was parted out early in life.

I haven't seen too many black MoPars in general. Seems to me the only color they had in the late 60's was green metallic!!!

I see alot of Tor -Red / Hemi orange also....

My 72 Satellite is EV2 tor red suposed to be more rare since it was a more expensive option but I see it soo much ...its almost too much.
Im going a dark orange metallic or somthing burnt orange just to be a bit different

Your right Meep Meep, one of my friends and I have a running joke and it goes something like this, "and of course, it's green!" that's it punch line and all, it just seems like we say it an awful lot. I like the green cars(believe me I like them all) but I don't strive to own one.

:icon_rambo:I've had close to forty Chargers 71-74 , and about 85% of those were some shade of GREEN . Its a running joke for my family too !

Haha! My buddy and I had the same joke and sometimes it was in reverse. "wow, it isn't green!"
