Let’s See Em !
The second one. The Dealer Demonstrator. I test drove this '69 GTX, the family car of the local Plymouth dealer, in 1970, one week before my 17th birthday. Tried to buy for the next 13 years, dealer wouldn't sell it to me. Bought Baby Blue instead, the last time he turned me down, in '83. Twenty years later, I found the car, by showing my "back in the day" photo to GTX guys at the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle. The current owner didn't want to sell the car, but promised me I'd get first shot if he changed his mind. Took another 20 years, but he kept his word, and sold me the Demonstrator two years ago. I retired when I closed the deal.
