While placing an order today for headers, was asked if I would be interested in the black ceramic coated. Here is the picture I was sent. Picture isn't the best, but I don't see anywhere on the tti website where it says they are available.

Anyone else hear that tti was making them? Or is it a new thing?

They do custom work this time of year, TTi custom bent a complete stainless steel exhaust system for my 69 Charger. I wouldn't doubt they could make the headers that way, they look much better than the silver.

Sonny's TTi --- silver --- look good after 4 years. :notworthy:

I do apply WD40 during down time (winter)

i like the black. wouldn't show ugly spots or discoloration as badly. i used to use the black header paint decades ago.

Those are the ones I went with Sonny. While I liked the black, I just didn't know how it would look with the turquoise paint. When spending that much money, I didn't want to put them on and not like them.

I take that back, the silver looks real good with turquoise, I was thinking orange.

Car Nut, what was the up charge for the SS pipes? I would love to go Stainless but have not priced them yet.

Everything (head pipes, X pipe, tail pipes, clamps and hangers) came to $1,050 shipped, that was from the stock manifolds to the tail pipes.

would have liked an X, but settled for an H:icon_winkle:

Looks great Sonny. I was going to go with the H at first, but decided to spend the extra $$$ for the X. Did you also go with the Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers?

To whom were you ordering Headers from? Mancini? Mazzolini?

i totally dig that black, i was going to order raw headers, and do it myself.

the black has a higher temp threshold VS, the Ceramic.

Hedman offers black. They call it the "Dark Side" LOL!
I like that look on the TTI's.

I went with the X-pipe on my 3" TTI system. I really cant say how good it works as I always race capped up through the exh as I have never uncapped it. Ron
