Gents, I have a '71 Charger/SB bought new; when I engage the right turn signal the Tac goes spastic; a neighbor that collects Lotus' said I have a turn signal bulb out. I checked my blinker bulbs and they are fine, but I did notice the indicator light in the dash for the rt. blinker is inop.
It looks like a SOB to get to that little bulb and R & R it, if that's the issue. I'm getting over some chemo and rad so I'd have to hire it done if the dash needs to come out. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?? Much appreciate your time.

I wouldnt think the bulb is the problem,But you never know. ground on the dash?

Can’t help with your electrical problem, hope your radiation and chemo is doing it’s job. Good luck.

Gents, one more question; my rim blow steering wheel's old and it doesn't work the horn. I replaced it with a Challenger wheel, but it must be for power steering, it's too small a diameter and it takes more than I have left to park it.

Does anybody refurb/rebuild the old rim-blow steering wheels???
Thx again, JD

What type of lamps (bulbs grow in the garden) are you running in the turn signal lights?
Also, what brand/type of flasher unit do you have?
This sounds like the Tach wire from the coil or CD box is receiving a dirty pulse, and getting interference from either the flasher or current wave form to the lights. This would be a problem if the cables are all loomed tightly together over a reasonable distance.

I have experienced this before with Hall Effect speedometer drives. :)
