not so , he ran it , saw him at tulsa once and he kept his intake covered up , everyone knew why , how do you think he could switch brands and have an instant winner the first race .

I saw him run many times, Pomona, Sears Point, Phoenix, Indy, Columbus... I saw him cover stuff, I also saw him get torn down... I never once heard of anyone having proof Bob's stuff wasn't legal... Yes, he skirted the rules, serious competitors do... But he didn't break the rules & he didn't use nitrous...

I know he turned Billy in for running nitrous... Doesn't seem like something a guy who's run the spray himself would do....

I saw racers putting towels over various parts of cars, had a buddy who did it too, what was he hiding? Nothing under the towel.. But it kept everyone looking & talking about what was under the towel, just a psyop..

There were rumors of nitrous being plumbed into scoops, just to increase the oxygen content of the air going into engines

I know when Wayne County almost got caught the rumors were the gas was actually plumbed through passages drilled in the block & fed through the bell housing area...

You think if Bob were gonna run nitrous he'd plumb it in the intake where it would be obvious if he got tore down...
