Sucks even worse it was his own son with an Meth/Crank addiction, who stole the car the night before he was going to sell it... sad that the kid got hurt really bad, but he stole his old mans car, I know any of my kids wouldn't even think about coming back home if they'd stole & wrecked one of my pride & joys, they'd be scared of what I'd do to them & to hell with the law...LOL... On a more serious note thou... Just the drug addiction of his son is allot to deal with, sometimes you buy them books & send them to school & all they do is F--- the teachers... Sometimes it's just a bad individual... I'm sad & I feel for him right now, let alone your child now in the hospital & the theft of the car {his pride & joy from many hrs/years of work & tens of thousands of $$$ of labor/parts/time etc.}, then other legal problems, cost & expenses, once he's finally healed from the wreck/injuries... That kid is in a world of hurt, I feel worse for the parent Bob M., more than the kid, for not only the loss of his car, but having to deal with a child with a nasty drug addiction, he had turned to thievery/deception & drugs... I have a brother allot like that, sometimes even the best parenting in the world, can't change a young persons stupid acts & lack of responsibilities, poor decisions for what they do in life, some have to learn the hard way, he learned the really hard way, especially if they are an addict of some sort... sad tale no matter what
