I have an old Bee that is a retired race car. I've left it mostly as it was in the day, although a full resto is probably deserved.

The car was towed at some point with a unit that clamped to the front bumper. This damaged the sheet metal piece above the bumper and below the grille.

I have found a new front bumper with AMD, but don't see that other part listed. Can someone educate me as to what that part is actually called so I can try to find it? I've looked at the Classic site and Year One, but they assume they're selling to people that know what they are looking for.

I know Roadrunners have this strip as well - it's body color and runs along under the grille. Know where I can find this for a 1969 Super Bee?

Thanks for any help!

Some folks (including AMD) call it a "Lower Grille Panel". Myself, a "Grille fill panel". AMD does not make that part for your car, neither does Sherman or Goodmark, to the best of my knowledge. I'd be looking for a decent good used one. Good luck.

Is this what you are talking about?

Found this while looking for one for my roadrunner. Bought a second hand one with a grill instead.
Hope this helps

Yes, I think that's it. It's the painted part above the bumper and below the grille, right? Looking at pics of a Roadrunner, that looks like it.

Now, to find one for a Coronet...

That panel, a front bench seat (complete seat) and a steering wheel and my hunting is done!
