If anybody has prior experience with an early B body convertible I'd appreciate some help. Trying to remove the interior rear quarter panel reinforcement bar from between the inner fenderwell and the quarter. It's loose as a goose (bracket to fenderwell is removed) but just won't pull far enough rearward to come out. It was damaged in a prior accident along with the braces that attach it to the fenderwell. Don't know what the heck is stopping it from coming out. Have any ideas? Service manual wasn't any help.
