Does a 1963 Chrysler have the same bolt pattern as later 60's B-body cars?
And do the brake drums swap over?

i do believe the 63 b body has the large bolt pattern. and should swap out just fine.

Awesome.
Thanks guys.
And it is the left handed threads. I am glad I knew that before I tried to get them off.

my first 1970 Road Runner i had back in '83 lad left handed lug threads on the drivers side...i got rid of them in a hurry!

This is funny cuz my car has left hand lugs on all but the rear passenger lol almost broke a air hammer tiring to get what I thought was rights off lol

does anyone know the real reason why Chrysler did that?

That was sort of a throwback from when wheels were held on by a single large nut instead of several (think 60's Corvette knock off wheels). The left side had lh threads to make sure the wheel rotation wouldn't un-thread the fastener. That mentality was continued over when regular bolt on wheels came into use, until finally someone realized that it wasn't needed. After all, Ford wheels weren't falling off, so....
