Im looking into buying a 73 roadrunner that has the factor power steering installed. Is there any way I can install the 14:1 Borgeson unit and re-use the factory pump?

I don't mean to be rude but the Borgeson swap is one of the more popular upgrades that is done to these cars. This forum is CHOCK full of other threads that cover this. You can do a search of the forum for BORGESON and several threads will pop up.
In short, YES you can use the stock pump IF it is a Saginaw unit. The Federal and TRW pumps might be adequate but the Saginaw absolutely is.

Just did a friends 1979 Magnum with a Borgeson conversion from Bergman , this one had the Saginaw pump and Peter fixed me up with everything required. The difference was well worth the investment.
