Bought a new project a few weeks ago

real nice transition from old to new.looks good.

Man, thats cool. Nice work. Looks awsome. thanks for sharing.

I love black cars,it really looks like the car i had.Black 4speed 383 though.Bad azz ride, are you sure you will be able to handle the heat from the black paint job.I lived there for awhile its hot,you should bring it up here to me in the snow belt to help warm things up a little. We don't want any heat stroke for ya,just concerned mopar friend!:eusa_angel::eusa_pray:

Yeah the heat can get pretty bad down here. But I'm kind of use to it.
That's one reason I stayed with the gold interior.
I thought about putting air on it but I have a concern the 440 may run hot.
I'm working on getting the interior finished before the local car cruises start.

You did a great job - the car is beautiful

:icon_cheers: Wow! :icon_cheers:

Ordered the interior from Legendary last week. The reproduction seat covers, carpet, headliner and package tray was $2000. Legendary gave me $300 off for an order that size plus they give some off for being a first time order. So actual cost was $1700. Gold interior cost more than other colors but I think it looks good in a black car. Seat covers takes around 4 weeks to get made and delivered.

It tooks nine weeks but I finally received my factory gold repro seat covers from Legendary. I don't know why it took them this long but i'm assuming it's because it was gold with a gold cloth insert. The seat covers really look good. The off white headliner really lights up on a black car.
Hopefully my interior will be installed by this weekend. I will post some pictures. The car is just about done if there is such a thing. The car is getting a lot of attention everywhere I take it.

The interior is almost done and the car is now almost done. The car gets more attention than I ever imagined. I have another 66 belvedere 2 I'm starting on. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I still can't believe how well the car drives. The disk brake conversion works great The .96 front torsion bars really gives the car a nice ride. One thing I didn't do is use a better steering box from firmfeel but I don't really mine the factory easy steer. I may change that later. b-bodies are just great cars.

:icon_thumright:this car is an inspiration to all on what can be acheived with the desire, time and financial commitment from someone with a vision of what a car can be. My hat is off to you for this accomplishment, my 69 is getting there slowly.

Thanks Clay Dots. I"ve had a lot of fun with this car. I got a little burnt out a few times but the car kept looking better and better. In one sense it was an easly build but than I start thinking about when I was scraping the undercoating off.
