1/8th mile racing, I kind of like the race concept... I think the rules are pretty interesting & very fare, unfortunately my current car doesn't really fit any class & still be competitive, unless I change a bunch stuff to make it comply of course, though maybe Extreme Street... The Pro-Street class is basically a High dollar Pro-Mod type class with smaller tires & 1/8th mile, I'm not real big on going that fast on that small of a tire... Keep us posted, I still may consider doing a serious road trip out from NorCal with a friends N20 car & rig, there are a few tracks I could hit on the way out, that I haven't been to in a long time now, that's for sure...

OK... Here is the deal on Pre entries, they thought they could do pay pal, but the fee's and people's overall opinion of it has not went well. So most have said to accept Money orders or checks. So this is what they are going to do.

Pre Entry
$300.00
I will update everyone with a entry list as it comes in.

Mail your entry to
Jim Howe
153 Hickory Hollow dr

Make sure to make a note this is a mailing address. The track does not have a mail box.
I will update the list every day with entries. When its full they will close pre-entry. Anyone's entry that comes in late will be mailed back to them.

1/8th mile racing, I kind of like the race concept... Come on out!! The Pro Street class isn't THAT bad, lol. It's more of a Limited Street class than Pro Mod. No full tube chassis cars, all factory front frame rail stuff. 5 teens in the 1/8 will get you competitive, and 5.0's will put you close if not at the front of the field. The track is a very good facility that is family run by people who treat the racers like family (no, not inlaws, lmao). Every time they have guaranteed payouts, they have always followed through. A lot of the index racers have been pushed aside in favor of the heads-up racers, so I think this is an awesome race for the guys who get called "filler" more than anything else... showing appreciation for the ones who keep the gates open season after season. Let me know if you end up deciding to come. I will point you at the best places to stay and would love to meet in person to put a face with the screen name!

Looks like it's filling up fast, I will let you know if we can make it... It sound like fun, the race in April would be a good fit for were we are kind of planning on going all ready {maybe, hows that for an answer}, between the 4 of us we could field at least 2 or 3 cars hopefully, economy is kind of bad here, money is not exactly rolling in, so we will have to see... I'm still thinking about trying to get a couple more of my old racing buddies, to do a serious racing road trip again, add a couple more races, if the money stuff can be worked out or at least a couple of us finishes our cars & everyone family schedule, vacations & all the crap the goes with it, we haven't been on a serious racing road trip for a while now, I'm getting really antsy... I'm the only single guy that can go race or do a road trip at the drop of a hat, well kind of, at least if Pop's health stays good, but funds are real tight here, the others are all married with children & a couple are really whipped, if you get my drift... It really sucks to have to depend on others for help to go racing, maybe I teach my girlfriend how to help...LOL...... Most of us don't race any were near as much as we use to, now life, kids & business always seems to gets in the way... Oh well such is life...

They have half of the full 64 car field in 7.0, and one slot still open in 6.0. This is GUARANTEED money guys! If anyone can make the trip down, the shot is VERY good for a $10,000 payday! The money is still going to be guaranteed in 7.0 even if the field isn't full, so if you can run that class, your chances are even better!!! So come on down to TN for the weekend!! The weather is great, the people are great, and some of the best racers in the country will be on hand!!! Here is a current list of entries:
