looking for a correct brake booster for a 69 Charger, need a master cylinder also? Thanks

Disc? Or Drum?

If Disc Doc Diff has reproductions that look correct & have been reported to work.... Originals are getting hard to find..

Yep-disc uses the Cadillac-the Bendix Dual Diaphragm and the drum uses the Midland single diaphragm.

That one on ebay how can you tell if it's single or dual. Bolt pattern firewall side? I have this one needs a rebuild.

Rebuild what you have. The C body unit uses different linkage. You have to have it apart to change them. Is yours a B or C body unit. I think that MBM has the linkage but they might not sell it without buying one of their Chinese reproductions. And I think the Ramman will put the correct stuff in it. I know-a lot of people don't like Wayne, but he knows his Mopar brakes. Call Booster Dewey or Harmon Brakes and get the information from them. I had Harmon rebuild a dual diaphragm A Body Midland and it is beautiful, it looks better than new.

Disc front Drum rear. So the repos work? OK?

@Kern Dog bought one & it's been great... There have been others that have also had good luck... I'm always skeptical of aftermarket stuff, so much junk out there especially those CPP brake boosters.. But from the feedback I've seen if I needed one I would probably take a chance on one...

I bought a repo dual- diaphragm and after a short time it started leaking at the crimp. Supplier replaced it, but got to experience the joy of replacing. If possible I would find an original to rebuild. Just because someone sells them, doesn’t make them good. All this crap comes from the same place.

Is there a way to test one before you install it, I’d rather replace a clutch than a booster.

C body pedal side pushrod is different... It can be swapped when the booster is rebuilt...

I shortened one and welded it back together waaayyyy back in the day......... still have it actually

Thanks for all the info, will check them out
