Friends 70 charger that I have been working on over the last few years. Switched to 4 wheel disc SSBC kit, with their MC and booster, brakes were not what they should have been. Finally figured out with his motor that there was low vacuum so switch to DR Diff MC with no booster. Brakes were fine when it left my house. Most recently they have gone away again. Seems like the back brakes are not working. It has original lines into the stock distribution block then into a SSBC proportioning valve. I've adjusted the valve with no change. Friend is also saying that fluid is coming out the front cap of the MC when he hits the brakes.

I'm stumped!!!! never had this problem before. Any Ideas?

I bought SSBC stuff for my car and had the same problems.....I tested the proportioning valve and found it was junk, so threw it away and installed a Wilwood proportioning valve..that got the rear brakes working.

I also found SSBC's brake pads to be garbage.....do yourself a favour and get some Hawk hi performance pads..........FAR BETTER !!!

Did you lose the factory disturbution block or keep it??

Got rid of it....if it's only a distribution block it doesn't add anything to the system other than more joints and places to leak...
