tire 001 (640x480).jpg

Anyone here ever broke a belt in one? This was from saturday night, in the dark, on the hiway, at 5 degrees..... Luckily I was driving and not my wife. Thought maybe I ran over a screw/nail?? NOT!

90% of the time that happens from an impact break.could have been from hitting something a week or so ago and let loose just now.pretty rare for modern tires to seperate on there own.

Yeah. Seen that a LOT in Bridgestone/Firestone stuff. When I was a tire guy, we used to routinely unload new tires that had at least one already separated. Anybody that's been in the tire industry any length of time will tell you real quick the B/F line is crap. Always has been.
