Broadcast sheets contain three things:
1) Administrative info such as the Vehicle Order Number (VON) serial number and other sales or route coding.
2) Sales coding info. These are the codes that, generally, start with a letter and have two numbers. The A-B-C coding. A lot of this coding is listed in online sources HOWEVER...realize that online decoders are a compromise to address codes covering many years meaning they potentially contain wrong information for your specific application. Codes change over the year. What the decoder lists may be correct for 1969 but not for 1973.
3) Two or three digit part or assembly codes. These tend to be specific for your particular application such as engine, axle or transmission assembly numbers, disc brake assemblies, column assemblies, speedometer gears, vacuum check valves, etc.
