Build sheet help

Hi all,

I have a 1970 K code Belvedere, 383, 4 door. It is one of 110 LAPD plain police cars purchased in 1970 and only 2 are known to exist. It is an April car.
I have the original build sheet which has the notation
"93 PILOT RR SWAY BARS SPL ENGINE"
"HEAVY DUTY FRT & R.R."

Does the "93 PILOT" mean it is a production line pilot car?

Any thoughts?

"93 PILOT RR SWAY BARS SPL ENGINE"

Without the use of punctuation, the '93 Pilot' may refer to auxiliary lighting points for the roof mounted light bar? Is there a lighting code that comes close to 93? Just throwing it out there that there are 3 separate items in that one line of text.
As in;

93 PILOT / RR SWAY BARS / SPL ENGINE

They are an interesting bit of mopar police history.
I think all 110 were built in a single run. LAPD specified front and rear bars.

I am wondering if it was a "PILOT" car of that run since there were LAPD specific items such as an axle modification for the non-production rear sway bar.

The one on the right is the LAPD car. The blue one is another 70 K code car from unknown So Cal PD

A little out of box, different wiring for a feed up to roof for police? Very interesting.

Could be the pilot car on that run i guess. Hadnt thought about it like that. There are interesting notes on some build sheets. I have one that says "special handling vehicle". No idea what that means either.

It would be interesting to find the VIN sequence if they all got built in a row. That may explain the pilot notation.

This is another of the many things that make these old Mopars so interesting. Uniqueness!

The only thing I see on the build sheet is police roof reinforcement under fleet heavy duty #38.

My neighbor has the only other 70 LAPD K code known to exist. Ill check his build date and VIN. Too bad he does not have a build sheet for his car.
