I know this has been discussed in the past but my computer crashed  I have lost my complete directory of parts sources and I cannot find what I am looking for in the B bodies search engine.
I need to install a 66 or later 727 tranny in my 65 Dodge Coronet and want to retain my stock (floor) shifter. I currently cannot find a source for a cable to linkage conversion kit and was hoping someone here could direct me to a vendor. If I cannot find the kit how hard would it be to just fabricate the conversion?

I used a 66-68 column shift steering column on my 65. You need the column, bellcrank, and rods.

I apologize I was not clear (have updated original post) that I have a floor shifter with a console. Thanks for your info. anyway.

I think this was recently discussed..... Imperial Services made a conversion, but they are no more. A&A Transmission (Rick Allison) has what you are looking for I do believe.

Thanks, I will check with Rick as I have done business with him in the past....should have thought of him right off the bat.

For a '65 B, with console shifter, you are looking for #AACSCC-352. Let us know how it works out if you go that route.

I too am interested to know what you end up doing. I have the Imperial Services setup on my '64 Polara and it works, but I can not for the life of me get it adjusted so that the car goes into park. Everything else works. So i put in in neutral and set the brake..... not cool.

It would be simple to fab up. Set it up just like an aftermarket floor shifter. Move the pivot and weld a cable clamp on (or bolt). Just make sure the travel at the trans shift arm is the same distance at the shifter pivot. Disregard the park level attachment. I did this years ago on my Volare. Used a B&M shifter with a 12" cable cut down to attach to the factory linkage rods (no more burned shift cables)
