Cage is going in my 64 polara this week

We are still trying to decide what to do with the front down bars. Through the dash or around it. Anyone have pictures of through the dash? Pictures of around the dash?

That's funny. It's been to one show, Detroit Auto-Rama. The judge about had a heart attack when I told him my show season ended that Sunday and I was going to race it. 85 passes last year.

Here is mine so far. Door bars and bars to tie in the shock braces still need to be done. Kidney bars left to do as well

Front down bar pics. In order to weld the nose bars in in a hole sawed a 4" hole in the A-pillar for access, then rewelded the piece that was cut out back in. I chose to hide half of my bars under the fender which required fabbing new front inner fender shields.

I like that. I did the magnum force strut braces and they'll tie through the firewall to the front down bars.

We got the door bars done today. They are going to be braced from the bottom too. Then tie into the firewall.
