Can some please tell me what color are the drums & calipers on an original factory disc brake 69 Roadrunner. My car originally had drums all around. The face of all 4 drums are painted red. Now I have switched to front disc brakes. I have heard some had red painted calipers and some had orange painted calibers. What is the most correct?

Don't hold me to this, but I "think" a member on here once said that if you've got wheels that you can see through (not steelies, rallye wheels, etc.) then you get just a splash of red paint on part of the brake...I think just the visible part, like half of the caliper or something like that. And I "think" it's on the front calipers..... but I'm not sure at all.

Anybody have any pics of the red drums and calipers?

Can anyone confirm if the color of the drums has to do with the setup on the car?
I've heard some of having them black, natural, or red. I've also heard it depends on the wheels that the cars have?

I have some rear drums with red paint on them but just figured someone painted them. Don't remember what wheels the cars had....

I know my front and rear drums had red paint on the faces. Does know one have any pics of a factory disc brake car with red calipers?
