Any of you guys running them on your car ,looking at putting them on my 69 roadrunner. Want to improve the 60 ft. Did they change your ride height? I already have the cals and mono leaf springs and their shocks front and back.
THANKS EDDIE B

i have caltracs and sliders on my dart. they will lower it slightly because your physically moving the rear of the spring closer to the frame rail. will you see a change in your 60ft? not sure because i did the caltracs and the sliders at the same time so i cannot comment. do they work, my car consistently does 1.44-1.45 60's off the foot brake.

Hemi-its runs CalTrac's and mono leaf on his '63. might want to PM him, see what he thinks...

68 Hemi what does your car run in the 1/4 and what mph? I 60 ft 1.50 to 1.53 and run low 10.50's at 128-129,looking to improve 60 to at least low 1.40's

I ran them on my old 68 RR, it did lower the car about an 1" IIRC, not sure if they helped much in 60 ft times or not I had installed them @ the same time as the CalTracs, I ran the original HD leafs for a couple seasons before I switched to the lighter Calvert mono-leafs, that did help a few hundredths, the sliders do free up you springs to travel in an arch & work under a load, so I think they would help to improve your 60 ft times, but IMHFO it's not going to improve the 60 ft times 2 tenths, maybe a couple of hundredths, over a none slider equipped Calvert CalTracs set up

I don't think it would improve 2 tenths either,I am pretty sure it won't,but .05 to .1 would be good, gotta find something why this car won't 60 LOL

depending on weather any where from low 10:30's to low 10:40's @ 130 i think my dart works pretty good considering its very nose heavy. figure iron mega block, iron hemi heads, alum cross ram with two carbs, and a big cooling system. she's probably not biased real well. but its pretty consistent long as the track is prepped well.
