cam degreeing

hi guys,

just a question about cam degreeing.

i have just stroked my 440 - 505, is it worth degreeing the cam, whats the benefit of it as i know nothing about it, and how do you do it.

i know you need the wheel but thats about it.

Yes. I degree in every cam I install. The benefits are knowing the cam is installed correctly in the engine. I recommend buying a kit to do it. Comp Cams makes a nice one for right around 100 bucks that includes everything you need and a video to show you how.

Cams and sprockets are not always machined like they are supposed to be too....so you are also making sure where the cam is when you degree it in. I do ALL cams on my builds, stock or otherwise.

My girl friend thinks i'm watching **** on my laptop, and tries to catch me up. But all she ever see's is me on here or researching car stuff. So too make herself not look so obvious, she pretends to be interested in cars. lol

My wife used to try and catch me doing stuff on the puter that she felt that I shouldn't be doing so I set it up for her to catch me. If she can't trust me then I'm going to do exactly what she doesn't trust me about. Got to have trust in a relationship and I feel that the relationship isn't there if there's no trust so I told her to do what she thought she needed to do. Trust me or hit the forking road!
