I've spent quite a bit of time on-line trying to decode the fender tag on my 64 Polara hardtop coupe. All I seem to be getting is really confused. I had a 70 Coronet hardtop coupe a while ago and that was straight forward, no such luck with the 64. Anybody, Bueller...?

A-5= Torgueflite trans., F-1= AM musicmaster economy, H-5= heater front w/defroster, M-3, N-8, & P-2 are unknown or unconfirmed & T-8= 48 amp battery(225,273 or 318).
Scheduled prod. date= 12/31 `63, BDY= 2-door hdtp, TRM = Vinyl high bench in gold & PNT= Anniversery Gold poly.
All of this is according to the white book, maybe somebody else will chime in to verify.
To bad some of the codes for these early cars are unknown.
