Hi all,
Finally got around to taking the fender tag off my project. Couldn't seem to find some of the codes on the site I use. Not that it matters cause someone has already cloned it into a RR. Just would like to know how it used to be. Here's the tag:

R11 END
V3X A01 L31 M21 M31 M33
FF4 H2X9 TX9 A23 093838
E44 D31 RH27 G0G 148405

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Hawk
Some of it I was able to get but my list did not have A23 TX9 H2X9 FF4 or M53 Sucks when you don't have a complete list.
If the car was still stock I would probably leave it alone. However, at one point in time it was cloned into a roadrunner, painted black and had poor body repairs made on both rear quarters and the left front inner fender has a noticeable wrinkle in it and the a pillars are cracked where they meet the cowl.
So I am going to put it back together as a RR clone. Always wanted one so RR it will be. Built like I would have ordered it new. Not sure on color either black or plum. Wife prefers plum. 440, 4 speed, dana, sub frame connectors, front and rear sway bars, buckets, console, Power Steering, Power disc brakes, power windows, A/C, air grabber, rally dash, wheel well trim, rocker moldings, go wing, would love to have a factory cruise setup but don't know if I'll be able to find one. So I've got my work cut out for me. First is to get the body squared away. Then the fun will begin.

Great plan Mark. I'd do exactly the same thing and not bat an eye.

Agreed. Sounds like a good plan.

Since 1970 RR/Satellite convertibles are pretty rare cars, it is good that you are saving it. Hang on to fender tags and build sheets if you have them, but make it into what you want and enjoy it!

I think the subframe connectors (& torque boxes, etc.) are great adders, especially for a 'vert. These cars were not super stiff, even the coupe's suffer from twisting and rattling. Stiffening up the car will be a great thing to do!
