I posed a question last week about using a 5.0KD lever in a 904 Torqueflight. Not 1 response, guess I will have to find it on my own???

It will fit. Dont expect any noticeable difference
I dont care for the 5.0 and on my street/strip car I use the 4.2 and it shifts great. Alot of people say the 5.0 is not really needed and will really bang on the shift. All I can tell you is I like the 4.2 and most of everyone I know does not use the 5.0. Ron
Nobody is paid here. This is all voluntary. If you don't get the responses you wanted, you should ask for your money back.
What was the original question? What is the intended usage of the trans? Do you need a 5.0 in most applications? No. Can you use it? Yes. A stock 904 with a 4 or 5 clutch high drum will take a fair amount of power when coupled with a good valve body. Sometimes the converter will crack at pump drive. There is a cure for that as well.
