Does anyone know where I can find the bushing that goes at the end of the rear rod and in trans control lever?

Pic attached and circled where bushing is

Doesn't take a bushing there. Rod end should just drop in, washer and cotter pin.

I just fixed mine. The rod end was really weird looking, much smaller than the lever hole and looked like it had been worked over with a file to even out wear or something - very uneven diameter and sloppy fit. It took an hour or two but I built up the end with my welder (and I'm a lousy welder) and using a bench grinder and files I shaped it back to size so that it has a good fit with minimum of slop now. I kind of wonder how sloppy those things were when new.

The rods wear over time. Like said above fill in groves with welder and remove excess with file or grinder.

Mine has a black bushing of some sort. Not saying it's stock but I'll post a picture as soon as I can.

Only 'clearance' for the lever hole, is just for free movement for the linkage pin. Seems it would take some rough treatment, to wear out that hole...but, anything goes.
Yes, a bushing would be a easy fix, for a sloppy hole...but would suggest a steel, or bronze bushing, to get the hole back right. Homemade stuff, but would work fine.

If you can find one - might experiment with an old door hinge bushing. I would think it would be relatively close in size. I think a 4-speed Hurst shifter bushing would be too big. Might find something at McMasters website.

So here's what I have installed, it's a black plastic piece. I couldn't get a better pic of it from the top.

I guess that must be some sort of retainer also - I don't see clip or cotter pin there like my link has.

That looks like that should work just fine.
