Which one? Not cheap. My 3 only get hand washed. Swirls drive me nuts. Water here is lousy. Both American made.

You can get a decent compressor for that kind of money Dennis that You can use for more than drying cars. Me, I just blow em down, blowing out the water traps on car, then a couple of quality, clean microfibres.
(more absorbent & gentler than chamois imo) & get a streak free result, even on the glass. If You wash the microfibres, do so in a MILD soap solution, extra rinse cycle if Your washer has one, NO fabric softeners, NO dryer sheets. Microfibres are THE ****, also available up to 40"x70" from Amazon & the like. The oversize towels are 2 for 25 - 40 bux, depending on which seller.
Hell, I use one standard sized towel, approx sq. ft, to dry myself off out of shower. I worship microfibre.

Thanks. Got another referral to the Ryobi too. This is the better-battery kit and a good price as well.
And the design of it is quieter than the older leaf blower models. Not that high pitched sound. I really like mine.

At my last house, I had to dry off my vehicles quickly to avoid water spots. Once I painted the Charger, I really wanted to avoid spotting so....I bought water filters and attached them to the front yard faucet.

Good idea. My friend has city water but it's from a well. The sediment is terrible. Replacing her hot water heater last year because it had filled up with sediment and shorted the lower element.

Anyhow, I thought I'd be a nice guy and wash her new car. I couldn't get it to dry without streaks all over it. That sediment is in the garden hose! What a mess.

It must have contaminated the hose too, huh? Maybe even the hose nozzle?
Time for new stuff.

Next time take the lower element out, break the sediment up with a pressure washer, flush and put a new element in. Results - like new water heater.

It is noisy but I just use my leaf blower. I would like to have something a bit more manageable however, and cordless would be great as well.

I was wondering why they didn`t do that too. Must have been "sold" a new hwh by a plumber ! Most young plumbers are like young auto mechanics, remove and replace, can`t fix much,if anything !

I used to use the "Mr. Clean Carwash System" and it worked GREAT!

Now that they unfortunately are no longer made, I realized that the best, most effective reason for its "spot free" "no drying required" results was the water filtration system incorporated into the wash rinse unit.
I have a 4 stage RO/DI water filtration system that I used to make water for my saltwater aquariums-that thankfully I am no longer enslaved to-but I digress.
This 3 section filter plus Reverse Osmosis membrane provide the most pure H2O that you could imagine, and I make about 50 gallons at a time in a heavy duty round garbage can on a dolly. Drop a submersible water pump in and VOILA! THAT is my rinse water and it produces ZERO water spots, even if I don't hand dry at all-which I do-just sayin'...

I have used a warm air blower on my Harley ( at the Harley store) .. If its cold out the warm air is really nice... Worked pretty good, but no I did not buy one.. The black bitch gets toweled and polished each wash.....

Believe me, I thought about that but it was like concrete and if it took me all day to clean it out you would wonder how thin the tank was. I'm making sure the new one gets purged every year now.

I don't wash my cars unless I have no choice. Mostly I use a car duster, and detail spray. I don't want to encourage rust. My neighbor didn't understand why his doors kept rusting, now to the size of a fist, and I didn't have any. Once he stopped washing it, it stopped rusting.
