Car enthusiasm crosses so many boundaries.

I see it at car club meetings and car shows. Age, sex, and race don't seem to matter. A crazy example, I was in downtown Colorado Springs which has all the big city type of demographics. I was at a stoplight when the guy next to me looked like the stereotypical East L.A. (with the head bandana and everything) Hispanic gang banger. He was sitting really low in the car. I rolled down my window and asked about the custom mods to his car. Realize I'm a 67-year-old white guy with long white hair. We had a nice 90-second conversation about cars and both had lived in Wichita. The world could take a lesson from the car community!
