Warm & Sunny & Dry here in Calif. 10+ months of the year {some years better than others},
well today it's really nice anyway, last week it was a little wet,
but were supposed to be getting or we're expecting another storm Sat.-Mon.,

The great weather here, only like an aver. of 45-60 days of measurable precipitation/inclement weather,
is the only real reason I still live in Calif...

But where I live, we get a little more of the mountain weather extremes, late Nov.- mid Feb.
snow, ice, cold & warm, but it's still mostly sunny & nice like 85% of the time, not necessarily always warm thou,
allot of sunshine dry roads, "most" all the time thou...

Bob, can you give us a updated version of your combo now that racing season is most likely over. So do you think the single 4 is a performance gain over the 2 4's? The body work is done on mine so after I get the tranny/OD ordered I'll be working on the top end of the 440.

I don't have any real info for you on that now. I put the Victor/Holley setup on but couldn't get it to run well. I put the 2x4 setup back on and made my fastest pass to date last week on my first run. The second run launched great then stumbled like the other setup and then wouldn't idle at all. I barely made it home with the car so started looking for the gremlin. I changed the distributor back from the Firecore to a MP one that I had on the shelf.Took it on the street and it ran great. If there is an opportunity in the next week or so to get to the track, I will put the other setup on and test it. So the short answer is I don't know yet. I'll post as soon as I have some real info.
