Car shipping

I used Montway to ship my convertible from Iowa to Hawaii. I check with several companies, price was a little higher, but unlike the other companies I checked, they were willing to handle the the trip from Iowa to the port in Oahu. Others only wanted to bring it from Iowa to long beach CA. They wanted me to handle booking the shipping slot on the boat, and handle checking it in at the docks. Montway would also handle shipping to my door if needed, but since the car was running and driving and the port is only 30 miles from my house, I picked it up on the pier. I would use them again.

It's not a cool old car. It was my hellcat challenger. Shipping cost was less than a plane ticket gas and a hotel would have been for me to drive it back.

Nothing wrong with a Hellcat Challenger. I am hoping to get a Redeye Challenger Hellcat myself sometime next year.

I’m confused, but have used Montway. Yes it’s a Broker but never a problem.

I used Montway less than a month ago. Very reasonable price for a 1700 mile haul. The first people they sent left empty handed, every red flag that could happen. The second people they consigned to were one of the best I have used. Delivered in 3 days. The only concern I had in this transaction was the lack of an inspection report that should have been done upon pickup and given to me for reference at delivery.
They also didn't try to get additional money when we refused the first company.

I'm not gonna lie, it's a lot of fun. I drove it to work one day so had a good day of seat time. I got home and decided to run an errand in my 69 charger 383 car. Part way down the road I was trying to diagnose why it wasn't running right. Finally realized it was running like it always had. I'd just acclimated to the 700hp that day. Lol

I sold my ‘21 Redeye last year. The torque was incredible and throttle response was instant. It would break the rear tires loose at 80 mph and to be honest would scare the crap out of me at times. That car demands respect or you will be wrapped around a pole.

No doubt, I want to go to one of those driving schools that use Hellcats and throw one around on the track,to learn how these cars behave. There are many wrecked Hellcats because of the too much car,not enough driver syndrome.

Friend of mine owns a redeye wide body .
It's not his daily...but he does drive it quite a bit in good weather.
It shares garage space with his hemi cuda clone in the winter

I didn't drive...but he took me and the wife for a ride Last year.

I can see why a lot of them get totaled.

That thing is scary fast for a street car
