I was having problems with the Dodge over the summer with it running for a while then shutting off and not starting again. I discovered that the chokes in both carbs open when the engine is cold and close once the engine gets hot. What could have caused this?? Both carbs are Edelbrock Thunder series and worked for the first year after the engine was built. This past summer was the second year after build. A mechanic played with the trans kick down linkage to try to get the trans to shift better so I don't know if that had any thing to do with my problem.
