Conversion kit to replace A727 with A518/46RH transmission

So, what is involved machining wise to make that kit conversion?
bell housing can be cut off with a sazz all. the adaptor mounts to the transmission pump.
The Jvx adaptor plate is just about as expensive, moves the trans back 1/2", has a toothed flexplate and crank to converter spacer. Need to cut original bellhousing to re-locate the starter.
John Cope has been working with a place making new cases/bellhousings, but no idea how much those will cost?
 
My opinion I would not do the silver sport kit. That GM transmission is for pickups it has a deep 3.07 first gear ratio and large gear spacing because of that. And it has never been that good of a transmission to start with. Ultra bell/518 is the best option, same gear ratio 1-3 + overdrive. Your shifter bolts right up as do your cooler lines. No driveline angle issues as Ive heard of with gear vendors. And ya get to keep your chrysler product all chrysler aside the ultra bell.
