Thought I posted this once but must be getting senile.... Anyway wondering what the collective opinion is for cfm choice on my 572 Hemi crate motor with chyrsler crossram. 4 speed car, to be driven on the sreet. I have 2 new 4150 Holly 600CFM double pump carbs. Would this be adequate or do I need to step up to 650 or 750 CFM flow to feed the beast. Thanks in advance for all opinions. Spook

This is of course a very complex subject, but for street use I would stay conservative with the CFM rating. If the recommendation is 750 CFM each maybe go 650-700. Also the double pumpers are not really street carbs and lack the fine tuned primary circuit for crisp and clean running. Pick a street Holley with vac secondaries (or AFB's) and I think you will be fine.
