The man's personal story is quite impressive - he built that business literally from the ground upMost, if not all of Nick's experience is from doing (like us), not formal training or studying metallurgy or anything like that.
and has been doing it for several decades now.
That said, he is a mechanic, not a metals or machining expert. He relies on experts in those fields he's had
working relationships with for years for such information, but he knows what works in what he builds and
has his preferences based on that.
You don't see engine build failures with him (unlike for example, "Uncle Tony" - where it seems about
everything he's built lately has failed; then we get videos on excuses of why they did).
