Thanks to our generous supporter @69bfan we have upped the chairs and tables. We should have 50 chairs and 5 tables this year. Please plan to see him at his tent at Carlisle this year - he has weather stripping and tons of other parts for our cars!

@71RRHI, you are most certainly in the running for the long distant award. Anyways, we are quite easy to find. Our tent runs parallel to Building T, one drive aisle over, and we are in rows H and I and spots 138 through 143. You should see some of our banners with the names of Dale's Cuda Shop, Gary Goer Interiors, Quirey Quality Design and Restoration Parts and Materials.

We are at our spaces from Tuesday morning through midday on Sunday. We try to start loading up around 3:00 on Saturday afternoon. Since we stay at our spots, we have people dropping by throughout the day and evening.

Since the late 80s when we started to doing the shows, we have always focused on the family like atmosphere with a tent, chairs for friends and food and drink for anyone needing a refreshment. Through the years, we have grown, but our intent in going was to enjoy the event and that will always be in place.

That was the purpose when I started pushing for the FBBO involvement with the Carlisle Club activities. Carlisle is so big that if your relatively new in attending the event, it can be overwhelming. The tent gives both new comers and us old guys the opportunity to have a centralized location for everyone to be able to have a place to come and sit down and take a rest with the guys here on the forum. Once a year, your able to sit down and converse face to face with fellow forum members.

Many years ago, several groups have had impromptu meet and greets at our tents. And at smaller events in which club tents are not as prevalent, we make an area available if anyone should want to have a meet and greet.

As I posted under the Event Activities section of this site, once you guys start to receive your paperwork from Carlisle with your assigned registration numbers, send me a brief message and I will start a rooster of those who will be attending, just send me name, space and a brief description. That will give fellow members the chance to track down someone if they so desire. Here is a small sample from a couple years ago:
dodge33: Swap meet 0125-127, bringing Western sheet metal
dual fours:
flypaper:
FU64RY: FU64RY: Show field, spot R120
HEMI-ITIS
hsorman: Lime Light 70 Road Runner, show field for stock 70 Plymouth B-Bodies Swap meet space E-48
khryslerkid: Show field R114
MD Mopar: 65 Belvedere II, Car Corral Pavillion
moparmandan: FABO, spectator

I will provide a hard copy that will be left with Hawk and the FxBO tent and I will have a copy of the rooster at our tent. And I will be updating it as the information is provided to me and try to keep it current.

If your out and walking through the swap meet or Building T, swing by our tent and say hello.

Richard

Hawk,
We're coming from out of town so I'm not bringing perishables, but Maria and I will drop off utensils, paper plates, and paper towels for all.

For those who have yet to register for the upcoming Chrysler at Carlisle event, take advantage of the Gate-n-Go preregistration and save an extra 10% off of the show field regular price. This offer runs through Tuesday, May 20th. If you should decide to take advantage of the offer, do not forget to register under the FBBO banner for club participation.

whatever it takes.....these guys put up the money, dedicate their time, and make it all happen;

and we all know, "no good deed goes unpunished"......
I'd help out when I can. I sometimes run the grill at our local Mopar club bar-b-ques. I'm a good gofer too. I'll be checking in with you.
