That era is not talked on this forum. Of course I love my 1997 Camaro SS but is there anything from that era that you like?

My wife has a 94 z28 I like that, but hate working on it. Wish it was a race car. I like 90’s Daytonas if they are chassis race cars lol

I really liked my 5 speed 2007 California Special Mustang, but I gave it to my daughter. :poke:

I had a 1990 Grand Prix 3.4 DOHC. Great handling car, 210HP, heads up display with a sick sound system. Had the car over 125mph a few times and there was still more in the pedal. Awesome car but very hard to work on. Back plugs were a nightmare, you had to tilt the engine. changed the alternator out and had to remove the pass wheel, inner fender and the reservoir. (not my pictures)

In 1992, I looked at what was available in new cars, and decided to get in a time machine, and go back 30 years. I bought a '62 Imperial with a rust free Arizona body, and had the mechanicals rebuilt from the radiator back to the rear axle. I drove it 90,000 miles as my company car, and was happier with it than anything I could have bought new. In 1996, I replaced it with a beautifully preserved '66 model that came from a San Diego estate sale, drove that one until 2000.

I like my 01 02 Durango and Dakota..... I think they are good looking trucks, the 05s are hideous and I would never drive one

overall, it was a very bland era of automotive styling, imo....... and everything became a 4 door

Nope, can't think of any. Except for a truck. I loved the big rig image of the second gen Rams and still have my 96 V10 2500 4x4. It been been used and abused and still going. This truck owes me nothing. It still is about 90% all factory parts. Still original, starter, alternator, radiator, u joints, exhaust etc. Only changed steering components, brakes, tires and batteries over the years.

Funny thing about that era… you could buy an older car for not much $’s. I got my ‘68 Satellite wagon for $425 in 2001, and my ‘68 4 door 383 Satellite for $1200 in mint condition. Then “Cash for Clunkers” happened. So a lot of cars from the 90’s into the early 00’s got scrapped. Almost everything from that era is way overpriced now.

Loved my '01 Dakota RT. With some mods, I had it running in the mid 13's.

Nothing from the Big 3. I never quite warmed up to the styling of the Viper; and the Viper wasn't in the cards for me anyway.

Yet another reason why I still have my B body '79 Chrysler 300.

Another vote for that generation of Dakota, mine was a 1998 and I loved that design. I thought it looked even better than the Ram design. Beyond that, those were some dark, dreary days for car designs.

The GTS looked good. Especially in blue. The lowest I’ve seen them come down to was $40k. Was still too much for me. They are way up from that now.

As a solid Mopar guy, I'm not proud to admit that perhaps my favorite all around car I've ever had was my '90 T Bird SC I bought in '93. It had a little over 20K miles when I bought it, almost hit 200K before I sold it in 2003. It fit me like a glove, had a 5 speed manual trans, and even got fairly decent gas mileage. Handled great, power and torque curve of the powertrain had been dialed in perfect by their engineers. Only downside was it was often a pain to work on.
I bought a used '95 Ram 1500 for a second car, in '97 and it was pretty sweet too. I was blown away by the innovative styling of the new gen Ram that came out in '94 and was pleased when I was able to get my hands on one for myself.
