CCW - what do you carry?

That's why my brother and I are outta here, no freedom!
It's one thing to tell your bud's in person, Ski. It's another to tell the whole world about it.
Im stuck......

I don't have any issues with my CCW in Calif. either

I just don't want to show much here on the -www- anymore
we have a few nefarious types I no longer trust,
that will stoop to almost any form of retaliation & negative dig/attacks
towards our constitutional 2nd amendment rights...

I have shared a few in the past, on several threads too...
I just don't need to make it any easier than I have to for them...

The govt. knows what I have already anyway...
I'm not concerned about them as much....

Nothing is secret on the -www- , no privacy, IMO less is better in this case,
I know some will argue that too,
it's just a gut feeling I've had for a while now...
I side on better to be safe than sorry now...

I'll share with my real friends/trusted members in a PM etc.

Yes I know that. But my point is that it makes absolutely no sense what so ever to go off telling everyone what you do and do not have. Especially when it comes to firearms. I own a lot of them and I still won't divulge each and every kind or caliber. I subscribe to the less is more when it comes to telling the rest of the Internet World and others what I do and don't have. It's my choice but I will always have a concern about those that routinely spout off about their Guns!!!!cr8crshr/Tuck

So, you own a lot of firearms? As far as the government goes...if you have one registered one, you're already flagged. May as well go NFA stuff.

You just don't want to get it do you? Sure the Gov't knows what I have because I have them registered. Even a daft individual would know that. Still it is not anyone's business at all. Why go around telegraphing to the whole feaking world what you have and don't have? It's like the old saying Loose Lips Sink Ships. Keep ones mouth shut at all times and go about your business. You can spin it any way you choose but I will still stand by my belief that one should not be posting up about their guns and bragging about this type or that. It still is no body's business. But you go right ahead if you so choose. I won't try and dissuade you from it. It's just plain foolish IMHFO...cr8crshr/Tuck:usflag::usflag::usflag:

I carry this S&W Model 19 with a 2.5" barrel in a pancake thumb brake holster on my left side. I load it with Winchester .357 Magnum hollow points.

I live in Louisiana, most anything goes. If you are in your home or car you can pack what fits...RPG, Mini Gun. Years ago when carjacking was popular we passed the "Shoot The Carjacker Law." Surprisingly carjackings stopped almost overnight.
Weather permitting I carry an HK P2000 357 Sig (just because I like the flames coming out of it) or a Sig Ultra 45 ACP. Neither one have ever had a jam or malfunction of any kind. I scored the HK barely used for $500. I bought the SIG through the factory. SIG gives a 25% discount to all veterans and you don't have to jump through a bunch of hoops to prove you are a vet. You cannot beat that deal. Prior coordination with and then just pay a small transfer fee to your local gun shop.

My buddy shipped his with the tripod, last year. I think it weighed about 125lbs. I know the crate was at least 25-30lbs added to that. It was a heavy beotch.

WHY NOT?
It's in our Constitution
It's not a crime to Carry concealed
If you don't "get it", you wont "get It"
It's an Ideology

And, it is proven that in the States with Carry or Open Carry (Not CA, cuz it is not State Wide) but States like AZ or Texas, there is less crime
Heck, In Arizona, it is illegal if you Conceal!
It must be open carry !

I am in Az, and unless I misunderstood the law, you can conceal carry or open carry without a CCW. The only thing the CCW does is remove the 3 day waiting period. I open carry a Sig P229.

Daily appendage.....

HK USPc-40, with match trigger/spur-hammer..slipped into a Don Hume Yaqui-slide.

A friend has a Taurus 45. I fired it at the range a couple of times nice gun except for the mag release. Too small and too hard to press to release the mag. In combat shooting it would be a negative when reloading.

Agreed, of course for me nothing fits like a 1911, I am a sucker for Colt 1911s!

I can dig it 69a100,
But what about States like AZ where you carry "OPEN"?
Everyone knows what you have.

I don't mind if someone knows I may be carrying here in CA as long as I am not:
1. Brandishing
2. Imprinting

Living in Illinois, why for gosh sakes would I have any firearms?
Once I move back to Indiana I may "find" them again.
If I were to feel the need to carry a sidearm, I really like the looks of a 9mm vintage Luger.
