Was there different center links manufactured for 68,69,70 chargers? Or even a different center link for a hemi, or are they all the same as far as the curves were they tie into pitman arm and idler arm?
And 71 and on curve changes + i’m assuming steering box angle differs from those years also?
So I have a 71 k member on a 69 charger i have shimmed steering box to and align box to steering column, but I’m having a problem with center link hitting oil pan when u turn hard right. Thinking of changing center link or be best to find correct year k member?
Hunt2elk just went through this with a Milodon pan made similar to yours. He ended up
loosening the engine mounts and moving the engine around some and gained a small amount of clearance. I’ve never understood why these aftermarket pans need so much amount of sump to the rear You may try moving the engine forward some.
