I have a 66 dodge cornett with 7-3/4 rear o want to change to 8-3/4 rear end so I can install disc brakes
Any issues I need to be aware of

Driveshaft length and U joint differences is all I can think of.

Thanks I figured that might be an issue
This car has a slant 6 do you think I may need a different gear ratio for the six compared to a V8

The /6 actually had good torque numbers for what it was. I have no idea what ratio you have right now, but 3.23 is my favorite all around ratio.
