When they made the Daytona did they use the same back window on the plug?
Pete is it flat or does it have a curve. Just wondering. ThanksNo the Daytona/500 rear glass is much larger than a standard Charger rear window. AMD was making them, but they discontinued them. I paid $1200.00 shipped when they were still available.
Does it delete the dutchman panel or plug welds to it?Good day sir,
The glass has a crown in the center, it's not flat
Looks to me that it welds to the existing. Screen-grabs from a Nick's Garage vid.Does it delete the dutchman panel or plug welds to it?

Chrysler did have the McGraw Glass plant in Detroit during that time.Did Chrysler make the glass in 1969?
AMD discontinued the Daytona/500 rear glass.Ask AMD if they have their reproductions ready.![]()
It was date coded Chrysler glass.Did Chrysler make the glass in 1969?
I’m happy with mine. I don’t know what Dave is planning with his Charger. You guys that own Charger’s have them deep pockets, so there’s no telling. Clone maybe? You and Mike just need to sell your old Mopars and buy a '69 Daytona.
Tinted, its an a/c car.
I don't think you can use that as a good example, from several sources I've read so far, the Joe Dirt Daytona clone used a Vega back glass when it was built....a not uncommon practice.Joe Dirt was on TV last night and the scene with Jamie Pressley has a very good shot as it pans across the rear. It shows the curvature of the rear glass
