When they made the Daytona did they use the same back window on the plug?

No the Daytona/500 rear glass is much larger than a standard Charger rear window. AMD was making them, but they discontinued them. I paid $1200.00 shipped when they were still available.

Pete is it flat or does it have a curve. Just wondering. Thanks

Ask AMD if they have their reproductions ready. :p

The dutchman panel stayed installed, the window plug lays over it. At the bottom where the bottom glass channel is there's a brace and that gets tact welded to the dutch panel. I've seen anywhere from 3 to 4 tacts. In refence to post #8 in the first picture

Joe Dirt was on TV last night and the scene with Jamie Pressley has a very good shot as it pans across the rear. It shows the curvature of the rear glass

I don't think you can use that as a good example, from several sources I've read so far, the Joe Dirt Daytona clone used a Vega back glass when it was built....a not uncommon practice.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Daytona/500 rear windows were factory stock from a van or something???? I may not be remembering correctly (?)
