Done by these guys no less....A barn wood find and restored at the same time.
What’s the tell tale signs of a repop tag?
The real sickness is they were gonna mount it on a a Ford Crown Vic.They want HOW MUCH. I would ask 500 too tow it away. LOL.
Throwing Charger panels onto a Crown Vic isn't a new thing. https://www.motor1.com/news/185184/general-lee-charger-ford-crown-victoria/The real sickness is they were gonna mount it on a a Ford Crown Vic.
Yes. You heard that right.
Well thanks for that insight.Throwing Charger panels onto a Crown Vic isn't a new thing. https://www.motor1.com/news/185184/general-lee-charger-ford-crown-victoria/
I guess I’d rather have Dynacorn come out with a 68 Charger body so originals aren’t strapped to Fords.
You are right, kinda cool cars, do whatever you want with them without the guilt of destroy a 2nd gen car. While I am sure there is someone putting charger panels on a CV to have a street car, most of those that are being done are being used for Duke of Hazard demos, movies, TV, etc. They chose the CV because it closely matches the dimensions of a G2 charger.
That said given the stupid prices of G2 Chargers, perhaps the CV swap is a viable alternative to getting hosed by the current inflated prices. I'd love to have a 70 Charger to sit with my 70 Challenger, 73 Cuda, 70 Roadrunner, 68 Cuda and 71 Charger but I would never pay the prices that are floating around now, I am happy to live without one. However if a guy picked up a CV stripped it out, maybe put in a G3 Hemi and hung Charger panels on it.... hmmm
