as a musician i will say that Jack White and THE WHITE STRIPES are the most original and innovative band since Nirvana..... love that Hemi !

I can see how White's music could be "not for everyone", but this one seems to have more of a roots rock/blues feel, and even though the lead solo still seems "all over the place", it strangely stays within context, which is kinda new for him.

I often find myself saying "hell, I could have done that", during some of their more "garage-y" sounding material, but the bottom line is- I didn't and they did, so good for them.
