I would suppose that most on this forum are like myself and have not read a issue of chevy craft magazine for years. I look at the news stand and just skip the ones that have car craft on them. last night at books a million a car craft caught my eye because of a blue duster on the cover, closer inspection showed a black 65 dodge and a green charger, and a big block mopar engine on the cover. inside was more of the same, TWO pages, yea TWO, was of a chevy engine, ALL other articles in the mag were mopar only, WOW!!!! had a very informative article on intakes. did anyone else note this anomaly??? Dave.

Ya it's where the money is headed. Folks want something different yet cool and classic and the only thing other than the fonz that fits is a mopar

Yep, I've noticed that they have finally discovered there's more to the world than Chevy. Let's hope that it isn't just an accident. I've had subscriptions to Car Craft and Hot Rod for years just because they are so cheap and I need some reading material in my crapper.

hotrod throws the dog a bone occasionally, but most of it aint worth reading. high dollar -have some one else build it chevys , not too interesting!

I even went a step further...back I the day I called it "camaro craft", because that's about the only thing that was in them. "Throwing a bone" would be to see a 4-4-2.

i always thought popular hot rodding was worse than car craft. car craft's tech guy used be a chevy/gm guy only. maybe he's not there anymore. if someone would compare the old hot rod mags to the new stuff; then all you would do with the new stuff is line a bird cage.

Well since the best Mopar mag is now defunct maybe they see an opportunity. It sure is a lot thinner than it used to be though !! Wouldn't be surprised if it goes the way of the Dodo pretty soon too.

For me, too little, too late
I WILL NEVER open up that RAG
Never subscribe
Idiots running that show...er Mag

Haven't read any mag.'s {rags} or subscribed to any in 10 years now

you can see most anything you want online for free
it may not be the current/latest issue, but it will be there sooner or later

I am a diehard Mopar guy & I was a Chevy guy,
I had quite a few very fast GM's/Racecars & cruisers too
many Ponitiac's, Old's, Buick's, trucks/4x4's & I still don't hate them...
I'm just a Mopar guy 1st now always have been my 1st love...

I just got tired of the everything about Camaro "Car Craft/Hot Rod"
{I don't hate Camaros either}
or always some article about SBC "how to" build for the umpteenth time
or some other damn Mustang or Fox Body "how to" build for the umpteenth time etc.
{I don't hate all Mustangs either, albeit some owners are squirrelly, just like many Mopars guys too},
I just got tired of the constant boorish all Chevelle, all Camaro & all Mustang,
all the damn time...

Or they were on the "mini truck" kick or the "Fast & furious" kick,
just not my thing, I like all 60's muscle cars, not just pony cars
or just the obligatory Camaro/Mustang article every damn issue...

Mopar was always the redheaded bastard "big 3" step child
{Along with lessor respected AMC},
maybe why I gravitated towards them, that & I love their style,
not just another cookie cutter car, different than all the sheeple/lemmings/masses...
At the detriment of my wallet & bank account...
