Ordered it 5 weeks ago and it just arrived. I'm missing my fender tag so was hoping it was readable from the microfische but it's pretty blurred. My 65 was originally a 361 4speed car, red on red. Rest of the options are hard to read.

When i got mine from chrysler archives about 5 years ago. They send me a breakdown on another paper with the options and dealer name that sold the car.Did you check the car for the buildsheet.I found mine under the front seat also.

Original interior is gone so no hope there. They did provide a couple of the options.

I have mine also from auburn hills ,and it tells me pretty much everything ,interior ,motor ,rearend ,paint colour ,even the steering wheel ,were it was made ,were it went to when it left Detroit .Did you get all of that

How do you get one of these cards?
RT

Hey RT you can call this # at the Walter P Chrysler Museum 888-456-1924 toll free, and they will ask for your vin # and let you know if they have info on your car,and go from there

My card isn't completely readable from the microfish so I only got the paint and interior colors, engine and trans. Dealer unknown. If I could match it up to another same year card I can see where mine is punched and maybe figure it out that way.

RTSrunner, they will give you info on how to request it. It is only by fax or mail and requires a $45 donation for their work. It's refunded if they can't find any info on your car.

I got mine a while back and was lucky as it has every option and interior / exterior color listed, plus the manufacturing plant and ship date. The only thing they couldn't get was the dealer that sold it. They also include photo copies of the original build card, which the summary below is made from. Pretty interesting.

If anyone has a fairly clean view of their 65 build card they could post, I could make out whats punched on mine.
