My Dad was a manager at the Chrysler Trenton Chemical/Adhesive plant in the 60's. I was digging through old slides and found these. He often would go with some of the R&D staff to the line to test new and various products. The adhesives used in the process were nick named "Hershey Drops".

I found some interesting old pics from the line.

thanks for sharing nice to see some shots of the plants ,work in progress ,brings back memories of back in the day in the shops we use to separate the hood ,roof skins and deck lids so we could make repairs, there was none of this replacing parts back then we repaired most of them ,and back then we leaded ,no mud

cool vintage factory assembly line photos, thanks for sharing with all of us

It's cool that you have some real Mopar history in your family. Thanks for posting the pics.

Thanks for the pics! Like the hottie in the Charger.

O KAY!! Great pics and want more lol. A good friend of mine worked for Chrysler back then too and so did his Mom and Dad but so far, he's never came up with any pics.

Awesome pics!!!! I love how the colors look in the old kodachrome film. Too bad they couldn't have come up with some better "Hershey Kisses" for the 71-4 Charger trunklids that are all separated now and sound like a thunder sound prop from some stage production.

WOW,, great COLOR pictures and the QUALITY is incredible!!!!!!!!!
