Hi has anyone installed an exhaust system from classic exhaust? If so how well did it fit. Thanks.

Yes, was at a Detroit swap meet today and talked to him. He said standard exhaust in aluminized steel for $650 with his mufflers. H pipe comes as a slider between the two sides. Can do a solid pipe at the H but can't ship. Also can do all in stainless for $1,200. Mufflers don't have the Chrysler markings. Doesn't have the flat spots in the pipes like ECS does.

Well lets see what they say , just emailed them on a duel exhaust for a 318. Most say they cant and I dont understand why not. Keeping the charger original but want duel exhaust.

Okay, I’m confused. I was at the swap meet and talked to Rick Lawler (from Classic) and he had two sample mufflers there. The repro stock muffler definitely had the pentastar and Mopar part number embossed.

Make sure it’s not T409 stainless that will rust.
I agree. Many people think all S/S won’t rust. 400 series will rust and 300 will not. A magnet will stick to 400 but not 300. Also, if having the 300 series welded make sure they use none magnetic rods or wire when welding. Otherwise you will contaminate the welded are and defeat the purpose of using 300 series pipes. This also goes for hangers. If your goi g to spend the money on something that’s going to last make sure it’s done right.

Don't know what to say. I didn't look too close but I asked him and he said no Chrysler markings.

Web site needs some attention ....

There's no template for them to go by if it didn't come from the factory. L:eek:ok for someone local with a pipe bender.

Without going through another post. Between the 409 stainless and aluminized steel pipe which is better? Going to order a new exhaust this spring. Car is all original.

409 stainless steel is generally considered more durable and resistant to corrosion than aluminized pipe.
