Classic License Plate vs. Regular Plate in CT

Hey guys any benefits between the 2? Was on the DMV website but really did not see anything to compare the 2 other than the $. $135 for a Regular plate vs. $107 for a Classic.

The difference is that with Classic Plates, you get taxed at a discounted rate from your town for a classic (older than 20 years) vehicle. This is information direct from a very close friend of mine who is a DMV Supervisor. You want classic vehicle plates if you have an old car, especially in CT where as I'm sure you are aware, property taxes are f'n ridiculous!
