Putting my cluster back in and lost track of a connection.

What connects to the circuit breaker on the back of the cluster that takes power from the ammeter connection?

Where the screwdriver is pointed.

Thank you!!

Sorry 1969 Charger. Has a full set of gauges, clock no tach. I’m not sure if that constitutes rally or not.

Are you sure that's factory? I have never seen one.

I just looked. That should be a convertible top circuit breaker which feeds the top lift switch. Is yours a convertible? If not just remove it. Cluster must of came from a different car.

No but it’s a power window car. And I just noticed my windows aren’t working. So that explains that!!!!

I need to dig for a wire I lost track of

That's certainly interesting. I would assume it's a heavy red or pink

I just found and printed a couple diagrams. I took this apart yesterday and I can’t believe I can’t find the end!!! I’ll post it up when I get it done. Probably tomorrow. I’m calling it a day today.

I do not think that is for power windows. Power windows are 12 volt key fed.

Good point, but the relay may be keyed? I don’t know. It’s been a long day

That circuit breaker is also included with the power windows. It feeds a safety relay which is key controlled. Which makes sense. The safety relay will have 3 wires 1-12ga Red, 1 12ga. Tan, 1 18ga. Tan. The relay needs to be grounded.

Couldn’t help myself- ran out to the garage and located the harness with the 3 wires. Sure enough, heavy red one fell down near the ignition switch. I think I can get it on the breaker from the bottom.

Thanks!

This all started with a turn signal issue, that smoked a wire having to do with the flasher. Got that squared away and all is good other than have no left rear turn signal. Then when I hit the brakes I get right brake light and front turn signal filament. That’s my last issue. And I’m on the road
